College Prep Service Levels

Initial Consultation

$50

The $50 will be credited to a service of your choice

Note: an initial consultation is NOT required to get started. A quick phone call, or sometimes even a text/Whatsapp, is all it takes.

Description:

For those that would like a one-on-one meeting and more thorough analysis prior to hiring us, please choose between two options:

College prep - In a 30-minute meeting or via a questionnaire, we will create a profile based on the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses. Using this profile, we will create a college readiness evaluation report where we will outline recommendations for maximizing your acceptance rate and a college application timeline.

Standardized test evaluation - We will send a practice test or two to make our recommendations on the correct standardized test to take, what areas to focus on, as well as determine target scores.

Please note that sibling discounts are available!

Hourly Rate

$125

Description:

One-on-one consultation with Ernest or Yvette.

Some examples of how this can be useful:

  • 8th-11th grade consultation to plan class selections, recommend extracurricular involvement based on student’s interests

  • College resume writing/editing

  • 10th-11th grade consultation to plan or identify major summer activity/project/program

  • Scholarship consultation

  • International Students - family session to educate on the process and application supplements for international applicants

  • Summer program application consultation

Description:

It’s important to start intentionally choosing classes and activities that will serve the student in a few ways: they can more easily narrow down their passions, they can have a more cohesive story to tell on their college application, they can prevent missing out on college options due to unintentionally missing minimum requirements. We can help guide the strategy and identify potential problems that are more easily fixed at this earlier stage.

Senior

$1000 Jun - Aug

$1500 Oct - Dec

$2000 Sept - Dec

Description:

Each student has unique needs and abilities, so we accordingly personalize our college application strategy for each client. All seniors need to write at least one long essay and one or two short responses, if not many more. All students need to fill out an activities/awards/extracurriculars section. Many students will have to submit a resume, and some will even have to do an interview or submit a portfolio. To give each of our clients the same quality experience, we believe it’s best to make one all-inclusive package.

From now on, our senior packages will be unlimited: as many sessions, texts, emails, GoogleDoc edits as it takes to complete the student’s applications.

We will discount SAT/ACT/other tutoring for those needing to add on extra help.

Those not needing unlimited help can opt for the hourly consultation or talk to us about a monthly unlimited rate.
